This hill is located at the slopes of Atitlan Volcano, used by Shamans as a Mayan altar. The Shamans believe that this hill is a portal to the “Xibalba” (Underworld). This Hill is well known as “Cerro de oro” inspired the Sleeping Elephant character in “The Little Prince.” In this hike you will walk around 2 miles (3.22 km.)
